Consorcio Solsanit is awarded a DOP 431 million contract by the Dominican Republic to renovate the "La Dura" water treatment plant in Moca.

In a significant move to enhance public health and water infrastructure, the Dominican Republic's government has given Consorcio Solsanit, S.R.L. a DOP 431.3 million contract to renovate the "La Dura" potable water treatment plant in Moca, Espaillat Province. The project is carried out by the National Institute of Potable Water and Sewage (INAPA) as part of the Water Supply and Wastewater Services Improvement Project (Project ID: P171778), which is funded by the World Bank.

Numerous local engineering firms participated in the tender; however, Santo Domingo-based Consorcio Solsanit, S.R.L. won the contract due to its competitive pricing and technical compliance.

  • P&M IngenierΓ­a Sanitaria, SRL was rejected because their bid was not signed.

  • RAAS, SRL: Disqualified for failing to meet eligibility standards

  • Constructora Blafeconsa, SRL and Forest Lakes, SRL were disqualified during the eligibility review.

After consideration, Consorcio Solsanit's DOP 431.3 million bid was approved as the most reasonable and competitive offer.
